Cobalto Douro

Cobalto Douro is a small distillery in the heart of the Douro Valley that has come to be known for its high quality and highly regarded products on the world spirits market.

It features the famous Gin Co-17 (Cobalto), the first and only Gin produced entirely in the Douro and which owes its balance and freshness to the alliance between artisanal production methods and the incorporation of six botanists, designed to guarantee the integrity of a classic Gin and the irreverence of a new generation Gin, with a fruity and seductive aroma. Co-17 is one of the most awarded gins in Europe. In addition to this, Cobalto Douro also produces the so-called The Wizard Gold; delicacy, elegance, and subtlety are the synonyms of this gin that combines floral botanicals with spices and gives it a lightness when you initially drink it and slight notes of hibiscus, saffron and aniseed at the end of the mouth. But it doesn't stop there, because we still have to mention the The Wizard Blue which has a distinctive blue color, and this is due to the effect of the presence of the flower clitorea ternatae.We are facing a very fruity Gin, due to the presence of blackberries, blueberries and green apple, which give it a mixture of sweet and acidic flavors, prevailing the acidic flavor in the aftertaste.
