Escola Profissional de Desenvolvimento Rural do Rodo

The Escola Profissional de Desenvolvimento Rural do Rodo (EPDRR) is located in the Douro wine region, occupying an area of approximately 10 hectares. It explores the wine-growing area and produces about 50 tons of grapes per year. In addition, the school has permission to manufacture Port Wine, with a capacity to produce about 30/36 barrels. With excellent physical conditions and a productive soil, the School owns the trademark “Quinta do Rodo”.

In addition to the wine-growing activity, EPDRR has invested in the mechanization of 1.8 hectares of terraced vineyards. It also has a machinery park, a greenhouse for vegetable production, a sports hall with solar panels and an outdoor amphitheater.
