Quinta do Seixo - Sandeman

In a privileged location on the south bank of the Douro River, Quinta do Seixo has been part of the Sogrape group since 1997; it is an 18th century property with about 100 hectares and emerges as one of the most imposing and traditional wine producers in the Douro Vinhateiro region.

The vineyard, with 71 hectares, produces about 2 million liters of wine, mainly Port wine, namely Vintage and LBV.

It is from the old vines, located in the heart of Quinta do Seixo, that the grapes that will go into the blends of the best wines are extracted. In this traditional planting system, dozens of different grape varieties can be found, in a unique and unrepeatable blend that defines this estate and the quality of its wines.

At Quinta do Seixo you can discover a winery equipped with the most advanced winemaking technology, perfectly integrated into the Douro landscape and respecting the tradition of producing high quality wines.

The winery, renovated in 2007, once again combines the best of tradition and innovation in a technologically cutting-edge and highly versatile project.
