Quinta Seara D'Ordens

Quinta Seara d'Ordens has existed since the end of the 18th century and is located in the heart of the Douro, 9 kms from Peso da Régua. From the 1960s, João Leite Moreira, owner of the Quinta, began a strong modernization dynamic that would be completed years later by his three sons: António, José and Fernando. In 1988, the three brothers, encouraged by their father, formed the Agricultural Society Quinta Seara d'Ordens, embracing the whole project. Four years later, they began marketing wines under their own brand (1992). Currently, with an area of 60ha and a centuries-old wine tradition, the Quinta has a privileged location at an altitude of half a slope in a south-west exposure, optimal conditions for the production of grapes of the highest quality.
