Description

The passion for the Douro led João Fernandes, one of the founders and winemaker, to the mouth of the Tua for its beauty and terroir. His first wine was titled FozTua.

The company has a family origin, having arisen from a passion for the Alto Douro wine region, which culminates in the acquisition of a property in 2014 with about 4 hectares, with numerous potentialities and resources. DouTua White Wine comes from altitude, whose landscape is the meeting between the Douro River and the Tua River.

The Foz Tua property includes approximately 2 hectares of vineyards and 1.5 hectares of olive groves among other productions such as fruit growing of lesser relevance, located near the Tua Dam and the historic Tua railway station.
