Quinta da Côrte, dating from the 18th century was bought in 2013 by Philippe Austruy, a Frenchman who fell in love with the Douro and the Quinta. From 2014 began investments in the improvement of the vineyards, the restoration of the existing cellar, now intended for Port Wine, the construction of a new cellar for Douro wines and later requalification of the main house to open as Local Accommodation.
