Vinho Branco “Terras do Demo”

Adega started in 1954, evolving into Cooperativa Agrícola do Távora in 1972. In 1975, it became part of the assets of the Moimenta da Beira and Sernancelhe Farmers' Guild. It receives about 6,000 tons of grapes per year, all to be vinified. Around 940 members (farmers who deliver grapes). Produces several brands, being Terras do Demo (in honor of the writer Aquilino Ribeiro and book with the same name) the most sold (also produces the brands Malhadinhas, Fraga da Pena). Sells to national and international markets. Production of about 5 million liters per year.
