Description

Cheesecakes to be eaten by the unit. In addition to the chestnut, they are made with Port wine and go very well with Port wine or coffee. The queijadas are on sale in the Restaurant and Café Flora (next to each other) and also by order. During the chestnut season (between October and November) and the Chestnut Fair, production reaches 500 units per day. They produce all year round, although in smaller quantities.

Founded by Sandra's in-laws 40 years ago, it is considered the restaurant of reference in Sernancelhe, the result of hard work and home cooking. Owners and employees have a long relationship (some working since the beginning). For about 20 years, Sandra and Fernando have managed the restaurant, maintaining the values that made this house the reference it continues to be. With the Chestnut Festival, they were challenged by the Chamber, 10 years ago, to create the Chestnut Queijada, a much appreciated and renowned recipe.
